Toy STory 3 Trailer to be released soon...

Forget Shrek 4, Toy Story 3 is gonna hit theatres on 2010 with much of the original voice actors including Tom Hanks and Tim Allen as Woody and Buzz Lightyear respectively.

In conjunction with Pixar's new movie UP to be released this year, Pixar with give fans a first look of Toy Story 3 with a teaser trailer packaged with UP. Finally, after a decade in development hell, Toy Story 3 will be released.

Confirmed in a website....

/Film reader Wagner has officially confirmed that a Toy Story 3 teaser trailer is attached to Pixar’s Up, and sent along a short description:

“It is confirmed.” … “Toy Story 3 teaser trailer is attached. Unfortunately like i said it is a teaser. It only shows the original characters building a Toy Story 3 sign led by Woody pretty funny. Then Buzz Lightyear showing him off by building a better one. They also show the release date of June 2010.”

A longer trailer is expected to be attached to the Toy Story / Toy Story 2 3D double feature limited engagement in October. Toy Story 3 is set for a June 18th 2010 release.

Weekend Trip & Star Trek Movie Review

I went back to Kuantan yesterday for my grandmother's birthday. I went to Kuantan Megamall to buy movie tickets for me and my cousin. At first I faced a tough question, Do I wanna watch X-Men Origins: Wolverine or the new Star Trek. The question raced in my mind even when I was lining up in the counter. I eventually opted for Star Trek which was a wise decision because my cousin already watched X-Men Origins twice.

So the birthday dinner was filling LOL... Just like any other 7 course Chinese dinner. Like many times before, I opted not to eat the shark fin soup. Everything was good except for the butter prawns. I ate the first few dishes quickly but after that I couldn't take much. As usual I skipped the dessert.

Then I went back to my uncle's house to rest. I sat there listening to my MP3 while my dad was busy playing mahjong with my uncles.

Then we were off to the cinema. The strange thing is my cousin and I, we barely knew each other in within 30 minutes we talked and got to know each other more than the last 10 years of knowing each other, yeah it's good to get to know a relative...LOL... Now off to the movie criticsm...

It turned out better than I thought actually. I thought it would be a so-and-so movie but it proved to be a fun and enjoyable movie but unlike it's simillar counterpart Star Wars, it lacks drama and is more to special effects. But it's a standout in int's genre. I think i'll give it 7/10. It has some great laughs(more funny scenes than Star Wars) which I really enjoy. It's logic to say the laughs makes the movie nice making it a half-comedy. but like many great movies, it has flaws.

- It's strange to see Sylar(the bad guy from Heroes) as a pointy eared alien with funny eyebrows and hairstyle named Spock.

- The enemy ship piloted by the bad-ass Captain Nero looks more like an aloe vera plant than a giant space ship.

- The film lacks a good cast. The only familiar actor is Eric Bana who plays the villain in this film, Captain Nero although in all those weird facial structures and make-up, he's barely recognisable. But Chris Pine did a good job as the punk womanizer Cadet James T Kirk who later becomes Captain. Sylar(dunno the actor's name) looked pretty strange with a nerd-accent, pointy ears, funny hairstyle and eyebrows.

The good stuff about the film.

- The funny scenes of the film.
= A bumbling Russian cadet who can't even pronounce the words right
=Cadet Kirk's playful and naughty character such as getting drunk in the bar and cheating in exams.
= The scene where Kirk's friend got wrongly teleported into a water pipes. HAHA That was the best scene.

- The film makes usually crazy and dumb plot elements such as time travel, travelling back in time and seeing a younger you, teleportation and black holes surprisingly work well.

- The special effects are SPLENDID and the dialogue is better than that of the Star Wars prequels.

But I noticed some elements of Star Trek are similar to that of Star Wars.
- The ship in which Captain Nero commands can destroy planets which is all to similar to Darth Vader's Death Star although the planet gets destroyed in a different way.

- The friendship between the flamboyant Captain Kirk and the no-nonsense Commander Spock is similar to Han Solo and Luke Skywalker.

- Who can forget. Ships than can warp in light speed, giant overwhelming mother-ships, laser guns.

But I'm still a Star Wars fan and I ain't no Trekkie.

Okay then I fell kinda ill the next day and I ate two panadol pills. We went home and ate dinner at Kerteh's Burger King. Went to TTT for Add Maths. Due to the fact that i took too much panadol, I became VERY VERY VERY wacky. Far wackeir than my usual self. So now I know the side-effects of drug overdose.
