Time to resurrect

Recently my blog has been full of lame movie reviews post so I really need something to pump things up... Before I return to HELL ON EARTH/DAVY JONES LOCKER/SMK SULTAN SULAIMAN...

ESP Camp
For my 3rd consecutive ESP Camp, things took unexpected turns due to a few reasons...
- HG didn't send a worship team...
- Jeff and Witter aren't going...
- If I go Pastor will put me in charge of camp forms, bus fares, e-mails etc.

Despite being hard to swallow, it was a big help. It's too early to tell but I hope the messages there will make me sober from my immorality for good. Also there's the calling for Full Time Ministry where The Lord just brought me forward. But this doesn't mean life will get easier. As a matter of fact the stakes are higher because I have to stop yearning for outsider's attention like I used to.

Well it gave me the boost to be myself. But due to the undeniable fact that I'm a self-righteous hypocritical bum, I need to redeem myself before I am ready for the real world.

As an extra note I added 4 toys to my Star Wars collection. I purchased a Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Commemorative Collection containing Darth Vader and Shock Class Stormtroopers as well as a Star Wars: Legacy Collection Clone Trooper + Battle Gear. The battle gear means it includes an entire arsenal of guns. Flechette Shotgun, Plasma Blaster Rifle, Sniper, Dual Blasters and a Pistol.

KL/Johor Trip
Only a day after ESP... Haiz... I have to abandon my plans of going to the UCSI Christmas thing to go to Johor and dreading it. But we had fun with my cousins in Johor, watched James Cameron's Avatar, seeing grandma and the family and last but not least got my bass guitar.

Christmas Holidays
Back to Kemaman for Christmas as usual. It's good to see the whole family again.. HAHAHA. But everything was fun but it was strange that this was the first time that all of us were too lazy to put up a Christmas tree. Mom bought a turkey, grandma made meatballs, there was roasted pork among other dishes.

The less said about presents the better because that won't matter....

HG New Year Countdown
The absence of a proper new year countdown for the past 2 years among His Generation meant we had to make this one the biggest and boy it did. I was surprised that I'm chosen to be the bassist although there was one team only and I'm not a pro bassist because they wanted to pick HG's top dogs. Maybe it's because I aptly have a new bass guitar... LOL...

First time serving under worship leader Sharon Foo was unexpectedly scary. She was stricter than either Christina or Ee June so we dare not fool around and she always demanded mutes. And Jeffery insisted we play without chords. Plus I had a lot of hard songs including Time Has Come, Tell The World, All For Love and especially Jump Around. The only thing that saved my neck was that the bass solo for Salvation Is Here is replaced as a guitar solo by Andy. Thanks man.

The outcome, it brought me to a new level of worship and bass skills. And to be congratulated by Jeffery(my man) brought me painfully low self-esteem to an all time high. I'm still waiting for Witter to congratulate me though... HAHA

But I was a bit shameful no one on my invitation list because my friends already had their plans. Sorry to Eng Hian because I couldn't join you....
